Events

The Austin Community of the STC sponsors a variety of events, such as monthly chapter meetings and programs, networking lunches, and seminars.

 

• Chapter meetings
  

  Chapter meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of the month on The University of Texas campus in Ernest Cockrell Jr. Hall (ECJ). Go to the Engineering Foundation Room on the 10th Floor. For more information, see Meeting Location.

• Networking lunches
  

  STC networking lunches are an informal way to meet your fellow tech writers. There is no program, no agenda, just food and conversation. The networking lunches occur each month in different locations around Austin.

• Seminars
  

  Seminars are held periodically, typically focusing on a specific subject area. Some seminars are hosted by STC Austin, while others are sponsored by the STC national organization or commercial enterprises.

• Board meetings
  Board meetings are held immediately before the monthly meetings. The meetings are open to all members but leaders are expected to attend.
